Textiles, Digital Signage and Creative Applications Make Visual Impact a Success for Roland DG

Sydney, Australia, May 26, 2015 - Leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and 3D devices Roland DG Australia was proud to be part of another successful Visual Impact Expo last week at Homebush. As Platinum sponsor, Roland DG showcased a number of new products and solutions, continued the 'Print for Purpose' initiative, and provided inspiration to visitors with several dedicated application displays.

Being the first showing in Australia, the new Roland DG Texart Dye sublimation solution, was one of the most popular products at the show, with some people coming to the trade show specifically to see this exciting new release.

The Texart RT-640 is a 3rd generation Roland DG sublimation printer, and combined with the all new Texart ink and Texart CS-64 Heat Transfer Calendar unit, offers a complete solution. Built on legendary Roland DG technology, backed by a comprehensive 3 year warranty, and also OEKO-TEX® Class I Certified Texart ink, the Roland DG Texart is the perfect solution for anyone looking to get into dye sublimation.

Another major feature on the Roland DG stand were the application displays, which showcased a wide range of samples focused on Retail, Personalisation and Interiors. All samples were printed using Roland DG eco-solvent, dye sublimation and UV inkjet technologies, demonstrating the vast possibilities achievable, and providing inspiration for Roland DG users to apply to their business.

With major growth in the digital signage market, Roland DG also displayed a number of digital solutions to cater for this market including the popular DisplayStudio digital signage solution, and the all new CL!CK Content Creator. The trade show was a pre-release showing of the CL!CK Content Creator, an exciting new software solution that makes the process of creating content for digital signage a breeze.

Among the new releases was the launch of PrintStudio, a feature-packed RIP software for Mac OS X, creating much excitement for those loyal Mac and Roland DG users.

‘Print for Purpose’ was once again taking place on the Roland DG Stand. Pioneered by Roland DG, this initiative seeks to reduce the wastage of demo print at trade shows and rather give this print to a worthy organisation. Starlight Children’s Foundation was the focus for Roland DG at this show, with a range of collateral being printed to help promote their current campaigns.

Roland DG also would like to congratulate Bear Designs who won the NSW state final of the ASGA Wrap Master Challenge.
