SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, February 10, 2010 - Roland DG, a leading worldwide provider of wide-format inkjet printers and Print&Cut devices, and leading graphics arts magazine Desktop, today announced a sponsorship deal for the 2010 Create:Awards.
N ow in it's 6th year, the Desktop CREATE:Awards has grown to become one of Australia's most prestigious design/creative industry accolades, recognising and awarding outstanding works in a vast array of creative fields including print, animation, fashion, packaging, website design, photography and much more. Judged by a panel of respected industry gurus and supported by credibly renowned companies and associations, winning a CREATE:Award is one of the highest accolades a designer/creative can receive.
Roland DG will sponsor the 'Print Creative' category for the 2010 awards to promote the unique and creative applications achievable through print. Roland specialised Print&Cut solutions can deliver creative applications such as metallic finishes, raised gloss/matte finishes, short run labels, decals, unique packaging prototypes and much more.
