Roland DG Service Information
Seeing such a huge demand from Printing and Pre-Press companies for
help with colour management, Roland DG has now introduced a variety of support
services which are available to anyone.
- For a casual enquiry we have a 1902 number
(available only within Australia). You can simply call 1902 268 503
for phone assistance on a per minute charge basis.
- You can also have a specialist visit your site by appointment.

- Roland DG also offers a range of pre-paid support contracts.
- It is also planned to have these services available throughout the New Zealand in the near future.
Roland DG’s offices, Service facility and spare parts warehouse are
situated in Frenchs Forest, a suburb on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Service
is available nationally and is performed by our team of Technicians
located in all capital cities. We regularly hold training courses,
which are given by Engineers from Roland DG ’s head office in Japan.
Technical Centres
Roland DG has Technical centres in all capital cities and will generally
have a Technician on-site within eight business hours of it being
found necessary that one visit. All Service Centres stock a range
spare parts and consumable items such as print heads.
Parts
The bulk of our spares are held in our Sydney warehouse with a wide
range being available for immediate delivery for both current and
older products. Roland DG guarantees supply of parts for a minimum of
seven years from the end of production of a model but spares are generally
available for far longer periods. We also share stock availability
information with Roland DG affiliates internationally when that hard
to find “bit” is required.
Warranty
All Roland DG products are guaranteed to be free of defective parts and
manufacturing for a period of twelve months from the purchase of the
product. Consumable parts such as print heads are covered by separate
warranties and this information is available on request.
NOTE: The use of third party consumables may result in your Roland DG
warranty or contract being void.
What to do should you experience a problem
Should you have a problem with your Roland DG product you have two options.
You can either:
(1) Contact your Authorised Roland DG Dealer who in many cases will be
able to assist you. If the Dealer is not able to resolve your problem
he will contact our office and you will receive a follow-up call either
from the dealer, a call from our office or a Technician will visit
you personally.
(2) Call our hotline on 1902 268 503 and speak directly to a Product
Support specialist or Technician, calls to this number are charged
at $3.30 per minute including GST.
